What Happened? On XX/XX/2022 XXXX Bank reported to the XXXX XXXX XXXX that this account was delinquent and that dishonest payments had been made. With no warning or inquiry, they closed the account, reported dishonored payments to the credit Bureaus, eventually leading to a XXXX reduction in my XXXX score. How did this happen? My Bank XXXX merged with XXXX XXXX effective XX/XX/2022. In early XXXX I had set up external XXXX Bank connections on my online XXXX portal. XXXX of these accounts were with XXXX XXXX, as I had entered the routing and account numbers as indicated on my checks.
