I had a credit card charge that i am not aware or have not authorized. I filled gas at a XXXX, XXXX gas station and the merchant told me that the card is declined. I then paid it by another card. However, the merchant fraudulently charged lot of money on my card. Citi bank declined to fully investigate this. They did not get any information from the merchant and they clearly stated it in the letter i received. Despite of this, they closed it stating that it is valid because i gave the card to the merchant. They ignored on what i stated about card decline. Full details of what has happened is in the attached letter. I kindly request authorities to look into this case and particularly the way they have conducted this investigation, because this type of partial or weak investigation is going to impact lot of customers like me.
