On XX/XX/2022 I enrolled in a Home Depot Consumer Credit ( operated by Citibank ) which advertised a savings of {$50.00} off the first Home Depot purchase of {$500.00} - XXXX using the card. The advertisement for the card listed several exclusions, but did not state that the {$50.00} could not be combined with any other offer. On XX/XX/2022, after enrolling in the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card, I attempted to make an online purchase on homedepot.com of {$850.00} but was unable to access the advertised {$50.00} savings online. I called Home Depot Consumer Credit on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with an associate who confirmed I was eligible for the {$50.00} savings, that I should go ahead and make the purchase, and then call back 48-72 hours after making the purchase to request that the {$50.00} savings be applied to my purchase retroactively. Based on this guidance, I proceeded to place the order on homedepot.com. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Home Depot Consumer Credit and to request that the {$50.00} savings be applied to my purchase.
