While I was out-of-town, my identity was stolen and used for fraudulent purposes, included among this fraud was a purchase from XXXX XXXX for {$400.00} XXXX I immediately reported to the credit card company ; however, it did not conduct an immediate investigation as required by law. It was months before I atually heard anything from the credit XXXX company. In the interim, I contacted the company by telephone and was informed that the4 unauthorized transaction was removed from my account. Months later, by letter dated XXXX XXXX, 2022, the company informed me that I was being required to pay for said unauthorized transaction. Consequent, phone calls with the company regarding this issue only resulted promises of further investigation, which were not honored. Recent, phone calls to the company regarding this matter has resulted in me being informed that nothing further will be done about this and that I musty pay. I have been advised to sue and file this complaint.
