Since XXXX of XXXX I made Rushmore XXXX, my loan servicer, aware that I wanted to end my forbearance from XXXX and begin making payments again. I filled out an application to start the remodification process. I was asked to send documents to verify income. I sent all documents asked for. Since XXXX of 2021 I have now filled out the application 3 times and sent new updated documents countless times. Rushmore NEVER would call me. I had to write a letter asking them to call me for updates. To date, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL FROM RUSHMORE XXXX on any updates even after requesting them to call me IN WRITING. I was asked COUNTLESS times by Rushmore to send documents that I already sent them. I would call them periodically and they would tell me they still need a document before it could go to the loan officer. I would tell them I already sent it and they would look and see that I did. Due to a 30 day time limit they put on the application, they could then ask for new updated application with new documents to start the process all over again. I would comply in sending them within hours of the conversation. The last time I spoke with Rushmore, they PROMISED me that this time the documents they requested would make my packet complete so they could send it to the loan officer. They have told me this XXXX times! I always would send them the requested documents within hours of the conversation. Today I received a foreclosure notice saying I had 21 days to reply or lose my home. The tactics of asking for the same documents over and over, which causes time to lapse so they can ask for them again and again and then start a new application process has caused the foreclosure to start. The worst part is I have shown Rushmore that I can more than afford the monthly payment yet they keep stalling by asking for documents I have already sent them! I believe this to be predatory business practices! I remodified a different house loan only XXXX XXXX XXXX and the company XXXX XXXX, completed and approved me within 30 days! I even sent Rushmore the copy of my remodified loan!
