I instantly called Citibank and logged into my account. I tried to do online fraud through Citibank but the transactions are in a pending status, so the system will not allow me to do any disputes for 3-5 days. I did speak with a Citibank representative who stated that she canceled my credit card and posted fraud alerts for all transactions but she stated I will not here about any outcomes for up to two weeks. I am very nervous about all of these fraudulent charges to my account especially the XXXX cent charges because those are usually test charges. Iasked the Citibank representative if they have had any fraud or hacking events and she stated no. After researching I found this to be inaccurate. XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX reported scams and hacking attacks pilfering over XXXX credit card customers.
