I had to file for bankruptcy at the start of the year. While I was in the process of filing I made very clear to my Loan Originator ( GM Financial ) that my intent was to REAFFIRM the loan after the bankruptcy was discharged. At that time I was informed that I would not be able to do anything regarding reaffirmation until AFTER the loan was discharged. To be clear, this was information given to me DIRECTLY by the GM Financial Collections and Bankruptcy departments. After the bankruptcy was discharged, I attempted to resolve the loan with them and have it reinstated. At that point they informed me there was nothing they can do, despite being provided with the name and information of the individuals who informed me otherwise. Since the bankruptcy was discharged, I have had nothing but problems in dealing with GM Financial. Every single time I try to call in I get transferred multiple times, and most of the time I get transferred I get disconnected and have to call back. I can not access any information about what I owe on the vehicle, I can't see payment dates, payment amounts, I don't even know what I owe on the vehicle anymore. This is entirely unacceptable. I want my loan reaffirmed. If the loan can not be reaffirmed because it was discharged, I need a NEW loan based on the current payoff balance, with the same terms as before. I am NOT trying to get one over or cheat the system, I want to be able to interact with GM Financial and with my Auto Loan in the same manner as every other GM Financial customer. It is absolutely unacceptable that I have received multiple different explanations. It is absolutely unacceptable that every time I call in I have to be transferred multiple times. It is absolutely unacceptable that I have to call multiple times because I keep getting disconnected. I just want this fixed so I can monitor my loan account like a normal XXXX customer
