I paid off the loan for the lease buyout on my XXXX XXXX XXXX with Chase Bank in XXXX. Last summer I learned that Chase Bank hadn't issued me the title to my vehicle when I went to sell it. I've been trying to work with the bank since XX/XX/XXXX to get title to my vehicle. During this time Chase Bank has made no progress on getting me the title to my vehicle. As of XX/XX/XXXX, Chase bank claims to have mailed me the lien release document that I need, so I can go to the DMV and get title to my vehicle. However, they sent the document to an old address and not my current mailing address that is on file with the bank. In addition, when I finally do get title for my vehicle, the DMV is going to require that I pay the sales tax for the lease buyout. The sales tax for the vehicle was covered in the loan that I got from Chase at the time I bought out the lease. So Chase is essentially profiting by keeping this money and not using it to pay for the sales tax.
