After spending the last two days on the phone with chase fixing things with my account they decided to close it. I have currently {$10000.00} in the account and called bot today and yesterday to let them know per the deposit agreement I signed when I opened the account there is nothing in that agreement that states I have to wait for them to mail me a check and told them twice now that I would go to the close branch to get the remainder of my funds in the accounts at time of closing. Both times I went to the branch they have told me they never recieved those instructions and said they would mail me a check. This is beyond crazy and I dont understand how they can hold my money when I have said twice know I will go to a branch to get the funds. This has cost me alot of time that I dont have to waste being on the phone and going into the branch just to be told no. The customer service people are flat out lying to me on the phone and not doing what they say they are and I dont understand how they can or are getting away with this. They need to give me my money now and not keep telling me something they arent doing. Do not use chase they have very poor customer service and basically will steal your money and keep you from getting it which is super illegal I feel. Chase by choosing not to give me my monery is basically stealing from me and there is no document I signed that states when they close my account that I cant go to the nearest branch to get the remaining balance.
