I lost my Chase Credit card a few months ago and got a replacement. In the last credit card statement I found a transaction ( {$140.00} on XX/XX/22 ) paid to XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) which I never authorized or expected. I called Chase immediately and filed a dispute. They made a temporarycredit back to my account. When I called XXXX they said that I entered the creditcard info manually and thus can not give me a refund.Here 's what happened. Last year I used the previously lost card to pay for the XXXX service for the organization that I volunteered for. And my successor ( XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX ) changed the billing method to the organization 's XXXX account. But XXXX did not accept the XXXX and instead came after me. XXXX acquired my newcredit card information ILLEGALLY and charged the auto-renewalfee to mynew credit card thatI neverprovided.Chase is saying that the company will never release the new card info to a vendor. XXXX is saying I must have changed it myself or agreed to Chase to surrender my replacement card to any vendor who requested it.Even though XXXX cancelled thesubscriptionservice on the account, the company refused to take my credit card off and threatened me that the same card will be used if the organization wants to reactivate their service. I think Chase gave my new credit card info to XXXX and XXXX charged the yearly fee on it.The problem is that1. None of this happened with my consent.2. XXXX still refuses that they stole my credit card info. They are insistingthat I did it manually for the organization that I haven't worked for over a year! 3. XXXX is refusing to give me a full refund,4. XXXX is threatening me to cancel my dispute claim to Chase saying otherwise they won't take my credit card off their billing system.
