My credit card was utilized on XX/XX/2022, at XXXX in the store for a merchant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$960.00} and it was fraud. During that morning, I was at the hotel pool while my room was being cleaned. My credit card was in the room. I informed Citi Cards that my credit card may have been taken by hotel staff, used and returned OR that somehow the numbers were used. I was told today that I will be responsible for the charges because during their investigation they learned that I provided the merchant with my account information for a " series of purchases. '' This is absolutely not true. I used this credit card twice, once at the hotel and once at a medical clinic to pay for my covid test. I called the hotel and the medical clinic to verify that they were not at all connected to the merchant who charged my card {$960.00}. They verified they are not connected to that merchant. I am not willing to pay for charges I did not incur, and am willing to get an attorney. Citibank Security Services will not re-open my dispute nor credit my account.
