I made a Chase Travel purchase {$460.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and should get {$50.00} annual travel credit as part of Chase Sapphire benefits. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Chase Sapphire customer service twice inquiring about why i did not get the {$50.00} credit, on both occasions were told the charge was not eligible due to the date. After conversation with a manger, he said it should be eligible so submitted an escalated ticket on the issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, without getting response after one month, I called customer service again, this time a manager said the date is eligible, it's the charge itself is not eligible. So I asked what about the charge is not eligible, and how to make it eligible next time. She said she does not have the details, all she know is that it's not eligible and they don't need to give me a reason. As a consumer, I have the rights to know why a charge is not eligible for the travel credit as promoted - date? Type of charge? Instead of being told " we do not have more information and if you don't have another question, I have to end this call '' - what an attitude from customer service!
