I, file this Complaint against CitiBanks ( Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, SD XXXX ) to recoup from them my funds totalling XXXX XXXX XXXX ( {$31000.00} ) US Dollars. On XX/XX/2022, I deposited to XXXX XXXX Account ending in # XXXX my funds totalling {$31000.00} US Dollars via two separate ACH transfers that have not been returned yet, despite my repeated demands to do so. CitiBank subsequently froze, held, and closed my XXXX XXXX Account ending on XXXX, without explanation, notice, or consent. As of todays date, CitiBank has not refunded my funds, and has not notified me verbally or with a writing detailing : ( A ) the whereabouts of my {$31000.00} US Dollars held in CitiBank Account ending XXXX on XXXX & XXXX, ( XXXX. XXXX - XXXX XXXX & XXXX, Acct # ending XXXX. ), ( B ) the reasons for closing, freezing, or holding my account ending in XXXX without my notice or consent, and/or ( C ) when the funds will be returned to me or what transgressed with my monies. Over two dozen occasions, I have directly spoken with multiple CitiBank representatives over the phone and even visited their XXXX Connecticut XXXX in person to no avail. I have also tried to file a dispute on their Dispute Center, but I am not allowed Log In access to do so. For these reasons, I submit this complaint to aid me demanding on my behalf the immediate refund of my {$31000.00} with all interest accrued to date. As follows are the ACH Transfers for the unreturned funds : XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for unreturned funds : File ID XXXX Individual ID XXXX XXXX # XXXX Ex. XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for unreturned funds : Company ID : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Web Individual ID XXXX Control # XXXX Ex. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX I kindly ask that Consumer Financial Protection Bureau intervene on my behalf to help me obtain a full refund of my deposits plus accrued interest earned to date.
