Company : I.Q. Data International, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX I.Q. Data International failed to comply with FDCPA 15 USC 1692g, Section 809 ( b ) as I formally requested debt validation. Details : ( 1 ). I.Q. Data placed a collection account on my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX, prior to sending a debt letter to me. This is a collection action. ( 2 ). I received a written debt letter from I.Q. Data dated XX/XX/XXXX stating I had 30 days to respond ( Enclosed ) / ( 3 ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I generated a formal dispute letter for debt validation. I faxed my formal dispute letter to XXXX as stated on the debt letter. ( Fax confirmation of receipt on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX attached )./ ( 4 ). On XX/XX/XXXX. I sent that same formal dispute letter for validation to I.Q. Data via certified mail to the address for written disputes as stated within the debt letter ( Copy of certified mail return receipt and tracking information included )./ ( 5 ). As of XX/XX/XXXX, I.Q. Data has not formally validated this debt./ ( 6 ). This debt was formally disputed with XXXX XXXX prior to referring to the collector./ ( 7 ). The amount due on the collectors demand letter is different than what my internal XXXX account reflected. My internal account reflects a {$0.00} balance. I have been harmed as this collection item had an adverse effect on my insurance rates and home purchase goals. I believe this is a willful violation of FDCPA 15 U.S. Code 1692k. XXXX.Q.
