Consumer Narrative

I applied for PSLF on the traditional grounds in late summer XXXX. The new waiver program was announced in early XXXX. On XX/XX/2021, I received an email that stated my payment count would go up by at least 33 payments ( outside of the XXXX payments I made that qualified my for loan forgiveness under the prior rules ). On XX/XX/2021, I received a letter that stated my loan balance was forgiven. I did not get any refund for the extra payments, nor are the payments visible on my Fedloan account. I filed a case on the Studentaid.gov website regarding the lack of refund. I received a reply stating that I would not be receiving a refund.
