I recently started to monitor my credit reports and noticed alot of fraudulent inquiries, charges, accounts, etc. I First disputed this particular account from Citi Bank with all three credit bureaus. XXXX, XXXX, AND XXXX ALL " INVESTIGATED '' the Citi Bank Account. All three came back with different answers and all report different information. On XX/XX/2022 I finally called and got ahold of someone at Citi Bank. I spoke to a young women and told her I didn't know my account number or any information about the account because it was opened fraudulently but I noticed it on my credit report and wanted to have it removed and asked her what i needed to do to fix it. She asked me for the account number i told her a second time I didnt have XXXX because the account was opened by somone else. She then asked for my social security number. I gave it to her and she then aksed for my address i gave it to her then she asked if i had another adderss. I told her no. She then said please verify some information for me and asked me a bunch of questions about old acounts and information i should only know. Alot of the questions I couldn't answer. She then asked me for my address and phone number then she tells me to wait for a call from a different department. On XXXX I get a bill from Citi Bank saying I owe them {$350.00}. I check My credit report and they updated The account with my information. Not the Original information and my credit score went down XXXX points and Has a derogatory remark on it. This is not right. I called to have them fix the issue not make me responsible for a fraudulent account. They never called Me or emailed me either. They need to be responsible for this fraudulent inquiries and remarks and making my credit score significantly lower than it was.
