I contacted Continental Finance credit card XXXX to report a Fraud on my account. After reporting fraud and requesting a new card, I noticed on their website that they updated my balance to zero. They closed my account, deleted all credit statements from my online profile, and reported, without my knowledge, a high balance on my card to three credit bureaus. The negligent and incorrect reporting affected my credit score and damaged my credit reputation. This erroneous action and the confusing online portal harmed my credit. This message serves as a notice pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692 Sec. 809 ( b ) that your reporting to credit bureaus is disputed validation, before reporting you MUST validate charges. The law is clear regarding the Civil liability and the remedy available to me ( Section 616 & 617 ) if you fail to comply with Federal Law. I am a litigious consumer and fully intend to pursue litigation in this matter to enforce my rights under the FCRA.
