I have a Citi custom cash XXXX with a {$9400.00} credit limit. I made some large purchases and did not have any credit available. I made XXXX payments XXXX from the Citi website coming out of my XXXX Checking account on XX/XX/22 in the amounts of {$4500.00} and {$3100.00} for a total of {$7700.00}. The money came out of my account on XX/XX/22 and was credited to the account but they have not credited it towards my credit limit. When I called Citi they told me their was a hold on the payments because I made multiple payments in one billing cycle, I only did this because I needed the credit available. they told me the hold will be in place until XX/XX/XXXX. That is 9 business days after the money has left my account and they received the funds. XXXX transactions should clear in 3 days not 9! They had no problem taking the money from me and are now holding it, interest free. This is unacceptable.
