I was overcharged twice by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX during my stay from XX/XX/2022 through XX/XX/2022. I was prepaying one week in advance. The hotel double-charged me on : XX/XX/2022 for {$590.00} and on XX/XX/2022 for {$550.00}. I was laid off my job on XX/XX/2022, so I left the hotel on XXXX XXXX. They should have refunded me for the {$550.00} as I didn't stay for that week ( prepaid ) and there was a second debit from my credit card on XX/XX/2022. I sent a detailed schedule to Citibank that demonstrated the dates I was at the hotel and corresponding payment from my credit card and one payment from my debit card. The schedule clearly shows the two overcharges. Citibank temporarily reversed the charges in XXXX, but last week they returned the charges. I was clearly overcharged when you match payments to dates of stay. The entire ordeal has been extremely stressful. Now, I am out of pocket {$1100.00}. Each time I call the Citibank, I am on hold for extended periods. The Citibank representatives I have spoken with have been unwilling to assist me. They claim it is my fault for not responding - but I have responded. When I called XXXX XXXX to voice my concerns, they hung up on me!
