I have a Chase XXXX card. I booked travel for XXXX of XXXX ( itinerary # XXXX ) through Chase XXXX using points. The total point amount I spent was XXXX which amounts to {$1800.00} in USD. I canceled my flights due to XXXX and followed up over the next year to check in on the status of my refund. First, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX would only offer a voucher. Then, Chase confirmed they were able to refund the cost of my trip in full to the original form of payment in XXXX ( see attached documentation ). I confirmed with XXXX separately they had processed the refund back to Chase. I have called Chase 7-8 times in the last two weeks alone, and been transferred to different individuals who talk to me using the same script. I have been told to wait 72 hours so that they could process my refund. I have waited this arbitrary wait time twice and no amount of money/points has been refunded back to my account. I called again Monday, XX/XX/XXXX and was told to wait 72 hours. I waited that time and tried calling again today, XX/XX/XXXX, and spoke with the XXXX customer service based here in the XXXX. I was told I could only be helped by the XXXX Rewards center or by the travel department even after I mentioned I was interested in closing my accounts. Once transferred, I asked when I could expect to see my refund appear in my account as I have been waiting for months and have been given no ETA. I have been hung up on, transferred to other people who work off a script just to stall conversations, and told to wait arbitrary wait times for resolutions that don't come. I just want my money back.
