On XX/XX/2022 I had an appointment at a Chase branch at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX to open a Checking Account on a email promotion I received from them. I went there with my wife and wanted to open up a joint checking account. The name of the bank representative was XXXX XXXX. ( NMLS ID : XXXX ). She was very rude from the start of the conversation. She asked where are we originally from. We told her we were from XXXX XXXX. She asked for ID 's and was taking a long time to process our info. Eventually she said I have no proof of address and I can not open an account with Chase. At that time I had a Personal Credit Card Account, Business Credit Card Account, Business Checking Account and 2 separate Business Credit Card Processing Accounts with Chase. I listed my accounts but she became visibly aggravated. She started raising her voice and had a condescending attitude. She stated that the Business and personal side of Chase are 2 different companies and that she will not be able to open an account unless I can provide proof of address. As both me and my wife had 2 ID 's with us and my new residence is in the name of my Wife, we offered to sign a lease agreement on the spot. She then said she does not have a piece of paper we can sign a lease on. Then I asked if she can print a document I sent to her email. She replied that the branch printer was broken. After that I asked to speak with the Branch Manager but she refused and asked us to leave. I refused to leave and I stated I am a customer and I refuse to be treated this way. She got very angry at that point and started threatening to call the police if I don't leave. She was repeatedly calling me " You ( pause ) trash ''! I left. I later found out ALL MY ACCOUNTS ( Business and Personal ) had been closed by Chase. Moreover, while the investigation was ongoing Chase locked {$73000.00}. Out of this sum {$40000.00} were received by Chase while the account was closed and I did not yet know about it. They said they will do a internal investigation but I will not be notified of the outcome of that investigation. I have an excellent credit score over ( XXXX for the last 5 years ) and I never had overdrafts or suspicions transactions. I strongly believe I was discriminated and racially profiled based on my national origin and race. The evidence to this will be the email that I received from Chase confirming my address was in fact changed to my new residence while I was still in the branch. The language used was unacceptable. The excuse to not open an account is provable false.
