On XX/XX/22 I walked into a Chase Bank in order to bring my account current that had been closed due to overdraft fees without my knowledge. My account had a minor overdraft of around {$30.00} - {$50.00} in actual debit charges and then additional fees due to the few overdrafts bringing my negative balance to a mere total of {$370.00}. When I XXXX money to my Chase account is only when I realized the account had been closed by Chase. Therefore I walked into the bank to bring it current after being told over the phone by multiple employees for Chase bank that I can easily open a new account after I bring it current. However, that was not the case. After waiting in the bank for an hour for them to figure out how to bring my closed account up so I may pay the bill they had me sit with a banker and denied me a traditional checking and savings account. They did not give me a reason as to why I was denied and only offered me a prepaid debit card which did not allow Bank wires or deposits of any kind. Not only did Chase close my account without my knowledge and lie to me they then ran my credit without my consent which is they basis for why they denied me opening a new account only due to sending me a letter later in explanation. If I would have known that my credit needed to be run in order to open up a new account even as a previous customer I would have never opened up a Chase account to begin with. I did not consent to any credit inquiries by Chase Bank and all of these are fraudulent due to them not requesting or even alerting me that my credit would be run. This is illegal
