In XXXX of 2022 I sent a check in the amount of the account balance. The check has been cashed, however, they have never credited my account. I provided the check amount, the bank it was drawn from, the date it was send and the date it cleared the bank so they could investigate the matter. Now, the creditor has insisted that I obtain an image of the returned check, which I have. Currently, they are refusing to provide me with a way to submit the image of the check other than by fax, which I do not have access to. I believe all of this is in an attempt to hold on to those funds as long as possible, meanwhile I have no way of being compensated for the time and expense of trying to correct this situation.
