On XX/XX/XXXX, we attempted to use our Elan Financial Services credit card to pay our veterinarian approximately {$150.00}. Not only was the card declined but the vet told us that it was declined for potential fraud. The credit card company had suspended the card because of an attempted charge of {$39.00} for a recurring monthly service that the said " they didn't like '' on XX/XX/XXXX. I am livid that the card company froze our account over a charge for a recurring service that we have been using for at least 4 months. Even worse, the company reported " potential fraud '' to the vet. That is extremely embarrassing and bordering on libel.
