I have disputed a charge with my insurance company, but the charge was sent to collections. I filed a report with the collection company alerting them of this, and I talked with them saying that I am disputing the charge and it would take, according to the insurance company, 7-20 days to refile my claim. The debt collection agency has been calling me an excessive amount of times. For example, the debt collection agency has called me 15 times from XXXX p.m. yesterday to now ( XXXX a.m. ). I can not make the insurance company refile my claim any faster, which I have told them. I am also aware that I have an unpaid {$36.00} charge from 2018. I will pay this once I get the current claim figured out because I do not feel comfortable paying them just part of what is owed since once the claim is refiled I won't need to pay it all.
