On XX/XX/XXXX I received letters from Synchrony Bank that my credit cards I possessed with them have been cancelled and closed based on activity on the accounts indicative of high risk of failure to pay. I have several years with these cards and most of these cards were issued when I did have good credit. Since 2 years ago, and during the pandemic my income did decrease as I got a divorce, my mom died during the pandemic and I lost my job and cared for my mom to take care of her. I moved in with her and cared for her as she developed XXXX XXXX and eventually died on XX/XX/XXXX. I was caring for her household and my own home which was located XXXX hours away. My income did decrease and since have gained employment and obtaining social security benefits as I will be XXXX this year. Most of my cards were in good terms and i have auto pay as I worked very hard to maintain good credit with synchrony and now they have cancelled all my cards with the company and of course my credit has hit rock bottom. I understand the terms that they have every right to cancel at any time, but it makes me upset they did it unexpectedly and while many of my cards were in good standing and it wasnt until I tried to use them that I understand they were cancelled by Synchrony. They monopolize the issuance of these cards and now I an stuck with paying them with very high interest rates. I would like to have them be reinstated if possible or offer a mutual agreement to decrease interest rate so that i can work out payment arrangements that fit my budget.
