I was purchasing airline tickets on XXXX 's website. As I was getting ready to check out there was an offer for the United Explorer card that said if I applied and got immediately approved that I could get a {$250.00} credit after the purchase and additional miles after spending {$3000.00}. I used that link to apply for the card and was immediately approved and then used the card to make my purchase. Several days later I called to find out when the {$250.00} credit would be applied to the account and keep getting told they have no record of the credit offered. I have spoken with XXXX and Chase on multiple occasions trying to get this issue resolved. I applied for the card using the offer link provided on the XXXX page that was provided online ( a {$250.00} credit to my account with my first purchase and the airlines miles after spending {$3000.00} in the first 3 months. ). I don't know why people keep saying they have no idea what I'm talking about regarding the {$250.00} account credit. This seems like a case of false advertising at this point. I wouldn't have even applied for the card if that offer hadn't been advertised on my purchase. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX pm, I called again asking for information. The representative told me that the {$250.00} credit would be refunded to my account when the cycle closed on XX/XX/XXXX. I called three times this morning ( XX/XX/2022 ), and the representative told me that there is no refund of this offer in my account. They say that they will transfer me to a higher representative but the call cuts. So, there is no answer. I have recorded some calls for my safety. If you check the page of XXXX XXXX, there is an advertisement that offers a {$250.00} credit statement and XXXX bonus miles. It was the same advertisement but XXXX bonus miles instead of XXXX. I am attaching a screenshot of the offer shown on the website.
