Consumer Narrative
I have student loans with AES, this is the third time that I have had to file a complaint. Once again, before the student loan freeze is over, AES is sending me threatening letters about repayment. The two times previous they have had to remove the current charges, but in both cases, I have had to file a complaint with your office. At what point, does the CFPB reach with AES that it sees they are nothing more that a predatory lending operation? Even with the loans suspended, I have tried to continue to make some form of payment, but these people feel they are above the law. Once again, please enforce the freeze on these people, they can't seem to police themselves!
