Consumer Narrative
We tried to refinance our existing mortgage with same XXXX bank that presently holds our mortgage at a higher rate. Everything was great, new lower rate, very high credit scores, more money in XXXX bank than our mortgage balance, we are putting 80 % down. It all went smooth till a couple days before closing the said it was unacceptable property type but it is same property we have been paying a higher rate on the last XXXX years. This also coincided with news of higher interest rates and world affairs.
