On XX/XX/XXXX, 2022 I logged into my Bloomingdales account online and it said there is an issue with my account and for me to call. I called the number displayed and all I get is a bunch of run around. They keep playing we will send you letter with a code in it game. Now i am not going to keep playing these childish games of account holds without explanation and then want to send letters with codes. Im not going through this everytime something arises with this company. My phone number of XXXX is on the account and I own the phone number through XXXX as I have the last 17 years now. I am self employed as well so the number may appear publicly as The XXXX XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX XXXX. The number is mine and this letter game stops now. I have attached my phone bill to show proof that this number is mine and to knock the nonsense off. Further denial to my account when i call in or asking for letters with codes will result in legal action. This has gone far enough. I have had to provide codes from letters almost 3 seperate occasions now. If the phone number on my account is the number im calling from, then use it and stop playing games. I was out of town that weekend of XX/XX/XXXX22 and if I didnt have other credit cards to use then i would have been XXXX because this company doesnt care. I tried explaining this to the rep and she didnt care to hear. Most credit card companies resolve any issue right there and then on the phone and not hindering a consumer from using thier card. This is a complete disgrace and they need to come up with a better procedure then this.
