My spouse received a phone call on XX/XX/2021, from XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding an application that was submitted under my personal information that they had suspected was fraud due to my spouse and I already have an existing account with them. I did verify it was from identity theft. I then checked my XXXX XXXX app to check my inquiries to find I had roughly 5 inquiries showing on my report within a 2-week period. Along with letters received in the mail from 2 different banks not noted on my credit report. I have disputed all of the inquiries with each creditor. I have had some inquiries removed. XXXX XXXX ( travel & entertainment ) inquiry posted XX/XX/2021 on XXXX-I 've called them at least 2 times. First Representative I spoke to in end of XXXX or early XXXX stated fraud will be noted, and inquiry removed on XXXX. Second Representative stated that fraud was noted and was sent for review. I'm still waiting if they will remove inquiry. XXXX XXXX ( card service ) inquiry posted XX/XX/2021 on XXXX I've spoken to a Representative to notify identity theft. Rep mentioned the account will be closed and the account would be investigated. They haven't removed inquiry from XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX inquiry posted XX/XX/2021 on XXXX I've spoken to Representatives on several occasions. Most Reps stated they closed the account and noted it as fraud but couldn't help remove inquiry from my credit report. Stated that I must contact Credit Bureau to have inquiry removed. Whomever stole my identity reported employment with XXXX. I've never worked for such company.
