We were on a covid 19 forbearance for 6 months in XXXX we sent in a request for an 180 day extension the request was denied we requested again and again denied. No notice was given that our house was going to a sheriff sale until I received a letter stating that my house was sold on XX/XX/2022 that letter came on XX/XX/2022 so was this some sort of secret sale because I have done alot of research and can not find anything about this now or in the past so if Rushmore Loan did this they did it in secret or this other person is lying who sent me the letter. We should have received the 180 day extension but were denied. Also a couple of questions that Rushmore has not answered. My brother XXXX who was responsible for the loan past away a few years ago I notified them they bought the mortgage from XXXX without knowing this I told them my wife and I are current residents and homeowners for this property my brother had mortgage insurance in case something happened to him this was part of the original mortgage but after he died they said XXXX there was none I still have the original mortgage showing it was apart of it so my brother always thought it was there so something happened to it without anyone 's knowledge or approval also at the time my brother signed the mortgage there turned out that there was no equity so my brother was going to walk out however XXXX gave him a {$10000.00} side loan which he later told me he felt pressure to do and sign to get the mortgage I do not know what to call that type of lending practice. I am almost XXXX XXXX XXXX this was my family home so I know that it is my death sentence if I have to go homeless I have asked for our 180 day extension and maybe as things get better we can work something out. Thank you for your time and being there to help. I think this was a FHA loan but I know it was a government backed loan also I have the documents showing the side loan even the folder it came in labeled side loan.
