I only owe Citi XXXX. They sent my account to an attorney saying that I owe them XXXX. Strangely, They never have been on my credit report and I have been a victim of ID theft. I don't know what to do. I hired a debt settlement company out of Florida who has been trying to settle this for me, but this lawyer and Citibank are determined to take me for all I have and have turned down an offer two weeks ago as high as XXXX, even though I don't owe them that amount!!!!!. I am being abused here thousands of times over and thats also because my state of Georgia has such poor laws that protect us against collection abuse. At this point abuse isn't even the word for it. Its far worse, I believe I am being TARGETED. They also believe that there is money available that isn't!!! I don't deserve this. This debt is over 4 years old, which is past the Statue of limitations. XXXX XXXX hired XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX for Citi Bank to create multiple layers to protect CITI against their original offer because they want to take me for THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. THIS IS A GRAND SCAM and a GROUP OF CRIMINALS. This Attorney, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX in XXXX GA of XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX is part of the scam. Both Citi and this Attorney need to be investigated. You should see the reviews on XXXX about XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, it is a nightmare. How many XXXX Citizens has this group of criminals taken? This is a scam ring. Also, I believe they broke into my account at the GA Department of Labor to try to find out where I work, thats how they decided they were going to go through and add on thousands of dollars to the original amount! I have filed a complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX because they have my Social Security Number, and they are the only ones besides Citi and XXXX XXXX that would have a MOTIVE!!!
