Consumer Narrative

We closed our XXXX XXXX account on XX/XX/2021 and were told that our final payment of {$440.00} would cover the final billing cycle due to end on XX/XX/2021. On XX/XX/2021, we received our next XXXX bill through XX/XX/2021 even though we had terminated the service for {$230.00}. They automatically billed my credit card which was erroneously still on file even though we had terminated service. A dispute with my credit card company was resolved in my favor. XXXX then sent me bills and sent the bill to collections. This charge is one for AFTER service was ended and after we were assured by XXXX we had paid our final bill for service through XX/XX/2021.
