XX/XX/XXXX I refinanced a mortgage with Better.com for XXXX. This should have paid my mortgage to XXXX and removed my ex-husband from the deed. XX/XX/XXXX I emailed the following to Better.com : I closed on my refinance XX/XX/XXXX. It should have been disbursed XX/XX/XXXX. My existing mortgage has not received the payoff yet. Since I was enrolled in auto-payments and it was not paid off as expected, the payment did not clear and I was charged a NSF fee at my bank. I have not received the money due to me from closing. Can I please get an update on the disbursement on my loan? They told me there was an issue with my closing documents, they were going to void the paperwork and the mortgage and I needed to go through closing again on XX/XX/XXXX. I let them know on XX/XX/XXXX that the mortgage that was supposed to be voided, was not voided and was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) effective XX/XX/XXXX. The payment date for the XXXX mortgage was XX/XX/XXXX. They have assured me since then that they are working to resolve the issue with XXXX and repurchase the mortgage. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, this issue is still not resolved. I have at least two, possibly three liens on my personal home and I should only have one. I am getting letters and calls regarding a delinquent account with XXXX ; stating they will start the foreclosure process if it is not paid within 45 days. I have escalated this issue multiple times with Better.com and they have not resolved the issue. They will not provide a timeline of when it will be resolved or the steps they have taken to resolve these issues. I am not sure if there is mortgage or wire fraud occurring.
