On my experience on XX/XX/22 was the worst experience I had when I went to this Dealership. I went in looking to purchase a vehicle I can use to get to and from work as a household necessity. I worked with a sales rep by the name of XXXX at XXXX car sales in XXXX, AZ. I gave the company my SSN and they ran my credit and I was told to purchase a vehicle Santander is requiring I need to put down {$3000.00}. The company denied me a car loan unless I put money down. 15 USC 1662, Prohibits Downpayments on a car loan. Santander should already know this as the sales rep told me they are under truth in lending regulation Z, The transaction is a credit transaction and not cash so my finance charge should have covered my vehicle purchase under 15 usc 1605, finance charge sum of all charges. Santander USA was in violation of the Equal credit opportunity Act for denying me credit on a auto loan and requiring a down payment
