This creditor is vindictively refusing to correct the error in reporting to the credit bureaus causing me severe financial harm and increased interest rates on accounts with other creditors. I have submitted disputes through the credit bureaus and attempted several times to contact the creditor directly, where they hang up on me or direct me to pre-recorded information that is not relevant to my situation. The single time I was able to speak to a customer service representative for CitiCards CBNA, they told me I need to pay the discharged debt in order for them to take any action on my credit report errors.
