On XX/XX/2021 Chase closed my Freedom Unlimited Account ending in : XXXX with no consent or authorization. They then provided me with an automated response that was unclear. In the response provided below Chase stated that my accounts were closed for two reasons that were not specific or clear. Chase then stated " Our decision was based in whole or in part from the consumer reporting agency listed below '' which was XXXX. Then on the very next sentence stated " The consumer reporting agency played no part in their decision '' That statement is a clear contradiction. Chase has discriminated against me under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and has used unfair practices against me. I have contacted Chase numerous times only to get laughed at and disregarded by agents like XXXX a XXXX XXXX who told me that he doesn't need to follow any federal laws because he was in charge. I then informed XXXX of the fact that I am a consumer 15 USC 1692a ( 3 ) and that I am aware of the fact that I am the original creditor and the account belongs to me not Chase as this was an accepted Credit card 15 USC 1693a ( 1 ) held at the federal reserve 15 USC 1693a ( 2 ) ( 4 ), I then informed Chase that they had created an unauthorized transaction 15 USC 1693a ( 12 ) as closure of my account without my consent was a violation as I receive no benefit from such action. As the person who extended the credit to Chase I am hurt and distraught at the fact that they would abuse me this way. I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism and their clear disregard of the law. I have been suffering and struggling to eat and take care of myself as I relied on my credit to obtain personal and household services. Chase had committed an unauthorized use of my account 15 USC 1693a ( 12 ) and has defrauded me.
