Consumer Narrative

After submitting a complaint with cfpb about the automated harassment emails and calls -- from numbers ( XXXX ) XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX, and ( XXXX ) XXXX -- I received a response through you all in which US Bank described that activity the following way : -- - " During a deferment, collection practices and monthly mortgage statements are still issued with the intended reason to keep the customer informed. Notices can be computer generated and during the forbearance process, our system of record is not updated until the deferment is completed. If you have any specific notice or statement about which you would like further clarity, you may contact the XXXX department or the XXXX XXXX XXXX for further research. '' " Please accept our apology for any frustration you experienced with the customer service provided. We strive to provide superior service and we regret if you feel that we fell short in this instance. '' -- - Now, my statement on the app has XXXX transactions, reflecting a transfer of {$2000.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX that is back-dated to XX/XX/XXXX, moving from one principal balance ( with a higher rate, as if they were doing me a favor ), to a principal balance to a lower rate. The transaction does not appear on any statement I have, and it appears they say the transaction happened in XXXX, when I still had electronic statements ( conveniently ). But the account has payments dating from XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, and those principal balances do not even show any interest having accrued on the amount that was " transferred '' in XX/XX/XXXX -- it's clear they robbed me of {$2000.00} and used the apparent lack of statement records available online ( I do keep paper copies ) to hide the evidence, with a backdated transaction that generated no interest at all over XXXX months.
