I received an email upon waking up on XX/XX/XXXX stating my citibank online password has been changed. I did not do this so I called Citibank immediately. The automated system advised that the balance in my account was {$48.00} which I know was incorrect. Once I got someone on the phone I advised them that I received that email about my password being changed, which I did not do and I wanted to see what was going on. I spoke with XXXX from the fraud department, told her my account was hacked and accessed. She advised me that the people were able to make 3 XXXX transactions in the amounts of {$2000.00}, {$500.00} and {$580.00}. I'm not sure if this was done on XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. This is a major hardship for me and my family. This is all the money we had. I'm not sure how I will pay for food, keep a roof over our heads if we don't get this back as soon as possible. I really need your help to get this rectified with Citibank. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, A very stressed out Momma.
