I have an Amazon Store Card through Synchrony bank. During the time frame of statement ending date XX/XX/XXXX, I made multiple payments because I was hitting the credit limit. Specifically, I made XXXX extra payments, one each time I hit the credit limit. The problem is that Synchrony wildly misallocated these payments. Primarily, they allocated almost all of my payment to zero percent APR promotions and not to the regular, due immediately balance. This has caused two major issues, one is that they've transferred a large amount of the balances from zero percent APR promotions to regular due immediately balance, effectively making me lose these APR promotions. The second issue is they have charged me incorrect interest charges. They agreed to fix the errors, without any detail, and their adjustments were applied on statement ending XX/XX/XXXX. However, the balances are still incorrect even after their adjustments. They're closer, for sure, but still wrong by about {$700.00}. I contacted Synchrony yet again, pointing out that the balances are still incorrect, and they have denied it and refuse to fix it. I have made a spreadsheet showing in detail what the balances should be, which was sent to them. They didn't care. I looked up your agency because I feel that this is directly related to the standard allocation requirements for credit card payments, which is apparently enforced by your agency. I am attaching my spreadsheet with notes, and I am also attaching the relevant statements received from the vendor so you can see them. Thank you.
