5 years ago I got a HELOC to pay off some credit card debt. 1 of the ones paid off was XXXX XXXX. Seeing how it was paid off from funds through a HELOC I have the amount written in a check register. I do not have access to a canceled check because the bank I had atvthat time has since been sold. I explained to these people that they were paid in full 5 years ago. About 1 year ago they have started putting on my credit report that I still owe them and I do not!! Why would they wait 4 years to notify someone they owe them. Think what I just stated. They waited 4 years after I paid them to say I didn't pay them. Would you wait 4 years to report a bad debt. I have been and will keep disputing this debt. I do not owe them not 1 penny. I'm sick of the constant false reporting on my credit and I'm sick of the harassing calls. Now they are sending stuff to my wife who had nothing to do with my debt that has been paid. It needs to stop now or else. I'm so sick of being harassed by XXXX XXXX and the companies they have supposedly sold my debt to. They need to leave me alone. I'm not giving them any more money.
