My XXXX credit report showed a collection item from Security Credit Svcs with a phone number of XXXX, the phone is a recording who never calls back. The company placing that collection, was XXXX in XXXX, XXXX. They said an online purchase of a phone on XX/XX/2021 was made with a XXXX XXXX XXXX, that was not mine, through XXXX XXXX and shipped to an address that was not mine. When the account was not paid, the collection item appeared on my credit report as well as my XXXX account. We both filed an identity fraud dispute on our accounts. In addition, we have filed an identity fraud complaint with the police department, and will be following up with the Federal Trade Commission.
