Consumer Narrative

My loans were recently transferred from XXXX to aidvantage, i was paying XXXX with income driven repayment a total of {$150.00} a month which includes a payment of {$64.00} and a payment of {$95.00}. I was told I would not have to make any changes to payment as the transition should be seamless, the first month of having aidvantage they took a total of {$340.00} in 2 payments in XXXX - one of {$170.00} and one of {$170.00}. I had suddenly been receiving tons of mail from aidvantage and XXXX about my loans in the last 14 days and logged in on XX/XX/2022 to find out they had my autopay set up to withdraw approximately {$3000.00} from my account on XX/XX/2022 without any warning in any of the mail I had received or by phone/email. I immediately called aidvantage and they canceled my autopay and assured me they would not collect that money as the autopay has now been canceled. They also had issues putting me back into income driven repayment. Because of this I had them put me in COVID relief deferment so that I wouldnt have a payment, and I then I made a payment for {$170.00} as this is the amount I have been paying to XXXX regularly and monthly for the past 2 years. I realized they were wrong or lied and withdrew {$1700.00} on XX/XX/2022, over drafting my account. I logged into their website today to ensure that my autopay is off and found that I am no longer in the Covid relief and have a payment due for {$1200.00} which appears to be the amount that is left over after they overdrafted my checking account. I also received multiple past-due notices for small amounts such as {$5.00} and a {$30.00} for XXXX, despite being set up for Auto-pay and also already paying my loans for that month, which was an amount that they had already changed and increased.
