I continued to receive collections letter due to a XXXX XXXX XXXX computer error. The claim was due to a computer error on the part of XXXX XXXX XXXX or possibly fraud ( I dont know ). About 3 years ago, I spoke to an XXXX XXXX XXXX consultant and I was told that this was resolved and indeed it was a computer error that occurred ( I switched carrier from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX continued to charge me after the switch ). I received collections letters ( numerous letters ). I am shocked to receive yet another collections letter re the same XXXX XXXX XXXX. Each time I call XXXX XXXX XXXX it's a time wasting exercise of talking to a ROBO voice person and spending no less than XXXX minutes to speak to a live person and then after that, XXXX to XXXX minutes to find me and the account. I have done this enough times to be extremely frustrated. I experience long wait time, cumbersome questions, often re-telling the story in entirety and speaking with someone who is not able to correct the problem. I am at my wits end. I don't know how to end the harassment letters from collections agencies. Out of principle, I don't want to pay for something which I don't owe. I ended yet another call with an XXXX XXXX XXXX representative who was dropped my call as he was trying to forward me to another department.
