Consumer Narrative
In XXXX, I returned to school to get a XXXX XXXX and my undergraduate loans were placed in in-school deferment. I was employed by the federal government and pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness. I remained on the in-school deferment until I completed my program in XX/XX/XXXX. The new waiver does not give credit for in-school deferments towards the XXXX payments requirements. I feel like we should be given the option to take those student loans out of deferment and make back-payments ( for the same amount we paid back then ) to count towards the XXXX payments for PSLF.
