On XX/XX/XXXX, I visited CitiBank branch in XXXX XXXX, CA to downgrade my Priority account to Basic account in order to prevent any monthly service fee. The branch manager helped me to change my account from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX package. At the same time, she showed me the promotion flyer ( see attachment ) and said the promotion was eligible for any customers including XXXX account. Also, the promotion flyer indicates that any new or existing customers were eligible to offer. I accepted the promotion offer and the branch manager helped me to open a saving account on XX/XX/XXXX, and a new money {$250000.00} new deposited on XX/XX/XXXX. Since my online banking account ( transfer money from ) does not offer check books, I worried about any loss risk if transferred a big amount {$250000.00} to the new saving account electronically so I deposited the new money {$250000.00} to my exisiting checking account which I've made many transcations successfully on XX/XX/XXXX and then transferred to the new open saving account on the same day. I followed the promotion requirement to maintained the balance {$250000.00} over 60 days but did not receive the cash bonus {$670.00}. I visited and asked the branch office to submit the promotion dispute twice in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX but got the same responses of that I am the basic account package customer not eligible for the promotion. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Citibank and they opened my case again and asked to mail any supporting documents including the promotion flyer, account transactions, .. etc. I mailed them on XX/XX/XXXX. I waited but did not get any resonse so I called Citibank on XX/XX/XXXX and they said the same feedback and my case was closed. I spent over 3 months but Citibank still refused to pay me the cash bonus {$670.00}.
