I have placed a formal complaint with the CFPB in regards to Chase Mortgage. The complaint was made on or about XX/XX/2021. My request was to have my mortgage properly reported to the credit bureaus. Chase contacted me the next day stating that they complaint would be reviewed. I provided Chase with the documentation requested to get the credit report corrected. Then sent the information on the payments to the credit bureaus based on the recommendation of Chase Bank. A letter was mailed with the document requested to reaffirm the loan and the bank claimed that they did not obtain the document by mail. The steps after that I contacted Chase and submitted the reaffirmation via electronic upload. This was done three times and was advised that the documents were received but every time the bank was contacted a representative gave information that conflicted and has not been resolved. I have contacted the Bank over 7 times by phone and submitted 2 uploads to the secure message and sent four messages back. The bank is aware that I want to get my credit properly reported on the credit reports. The request has been delayed either on purpose or to unlawfully harm me as the actions have hurt my credit report. I am seeking that my credit report be corrected immediately. Chase does not want to update my loan as they are keeping me hostage with a lower credit score. I was advised that the reporting of the loan with a reaffirmation would resolve the matter and raise my score and allow me to qualify for lower rates. In the last month the interest rates have increased and the bank continues to not correct the issue. The bank is using their power to abuse the system and fraudulently not report my payment history.
