LAst spring ( 2021 ) i went into the XXXX XXXX MD Best Buy to purchase XXXX TV 's for my new XXXX XXXX condo i was furnishing. Time was important since I wanted to rent the condo immediately and it had to have TV 's. I also had Best Buy agree to install them. The man who helped me got me to pay with both my debit card and a credit card he asked me to apply for. He said BB would contact me shortly to arrange day and time for the install. Unfortunately, when i spoke to the delivery dept. in XXXX XXXX they said they could not deliver the TV 's for several weeks. That was much too late so i told them to cancel my order. I also went to the XXXX XXXX store to ensure they canceled my order and refunded my money. They assured me they would. Instead, i have been receiving bills and threats ever since from Citibank ( Best Buy 's bank ) demanding payment on my credit card for TV 's i never received! I asked several times to speak with a manager at Citibank but they always refuse. I have tried to contact the district manager of Best Buy but he never returns calls or e-mails. Citibank has now begun reporting me to credit agencies as delinquent on payments for goods i never received and for an order i canceled immediately.
