I was approved for the XXXX XXXX credit card on XX/XX/XXXX. During that time period the largely advertised intro offer with this case was XXXX rapid rewards points. It was XXXX after XXXX spend. Then additional XXXX points after XXXX spend. Being such a great offer I applied for the card. I noticed shortly after on my chase account that it said my offer was XXXX points after {$500.00} spend. I believed this to be a glitch that would be corrected after awhile. Being now XX/XX/XXXX and never being corrected I contacted chase. They told me they were running 2 offers at the same time. ( One being much less valuable ) and that I must have used the channel for that offer instead. They refused to give me any additional compensation including matching the current offer or XXXX points. I believe this is a clear example of bait and switch. They advertise in big bold letters everywhere XXXX points. Then somehow sneak the XXXX Link in front of you. I am not the only one whos been impacted by this after checking XXXX, XXXX, and the southwest customer questions area, they have done this to numerous people. Then refuse to do anything about it. I canceled both my credit cards with chase and closed my checking account. I will also probably stop using Southwest Airlines which sucks for them because its not their fault Chase uses deceptive and immoral tactics. But unfortunately Ill probably get a new airline card so itll keep me from using them.
